The semi-slick design of the Rock Razor means it rolls exceptionally fast. Tip it into a corner though and once the beefy side knobs take over they give fantastic grip. On hardpack or a little bit of loose over hard, the grip braking and climbing is exceptional. They are definitely out of their element in mud though!
The new ADDIX compounds available in the Rock Razor are:
Speed Grip (Blue Stripe) – Designed as a universal compound, Speedgrip is perfect for XC, Trail and All Mountain. SpeedGrip splits the line between offering good grip with great durability. Overall, SpeedGrip offers better grip, durability, and damping than it’s its predecessor – Pace Star.
Soft (Orange Stripe) – Soft offer excellent grip and is designed for enduro and gravity riders. It ticks all 4 boxes with better grip, damping, rolling and a whopping 149% increase in durability over the Trail Star compound that it replaces.
