The Tech 3 X2 Disc Brake from Hope your current cockpit setup and improves upon it while upgrading your stopping power. The Tech 3 master cylinder can operate all callipers across the Hope range while offering an overall increase in power of about 5%. The design of the Tech 3 X2 Disc Brake is where the piston is actuated by a cam and a roller system, eliminating any free play and initial friction.

Designed with the classic split clamp, the master cylinder is easy to install on the handlebars without having to remove any other components, and is directly compatible with any Shimano I-Spec type shifter. This means there are no additional mounts to purchase to attach your Shimano I-Spec shifter to the master cylinder. For people with SRAM shifters, Hope have designed a specific direct mount adaptor.
